Public Transport  The town is served by both trains and buses. The railway station and bus stops are 5 - 10 mins away and can easily be reached by travelling right down Church Road and turning right into Westbourne Road.

Trains      In general, during the daytime, trains for Liverpool leave West Kirby every 15mins at 06, 19, 36 and 51 minutes past the hour. Later in the evening the service becomes half hourly. Full details at Merseyrail .

Supermarkets There is a full size Morrison's in Dee Lane (the road running from the railway station to the sea; 5 to 10 min away). In Banks Road there is a One Stop Shop (open approx 7 am to 11 pm). This is also 5 - 10 mins away. 
An Aldi can also be found in Bridge Road behind the rail station.
